What are cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies, including browser storage, to remember small things like which tab you had open.
How we store your consent
When you answer the cookie banner, we record your decision in a cookie called eg_cookie_consent, which holds one word:
accepted or declined
It is read before anything that measures how the site is used, and nothing of that kind loads unless it says accepted. Not answering is not the same as accepting: until you choose, nothing loads either.
It carries nothing about you, only that one word. It expires after a year, and deleting it makes the banner ask again.

Managing your preferences
You can manage your cookie preferences at any time:
- ●On the banner: Until you answer, it appears on every visit, and nothing that measures you loads in the meantime. Accept or Decline, and each does exactly what it says.
- ●By deleting the cookie: Remove
eg_cookie_consentin your browser and the banner asks again on your next visit. Declining then stops the analytics tools and clears what they had stored. - ●Via browser settings: Most browsers allow you to block or delete all cookies through their privacy or security settings.
